My very first blog: 9/21/07

My favorite thing that I learned so far in Intermidiate Computers is how to count in binary. I liked it because almost nobody knows how to count in Binary and those people look amazed when they see you count or write in binary. The least favorite thing I learned here is learning how to make a webpage on DreamWeaver. It's very difficult espacially making many programs on one webpage. What I like about this class is that we can actually put our hands on computers instead of writing alot. I'd probably wouldn't change anything about this class I like it alot. So far the most interesting thing that happened to me in SLHS is that I tried-out for the girls basketball team were conditioning right now so were not "officially" on the team yet, so I'm hoping that I'll be on the team by the time the season starts in November. I also joined the Latinos Unidos club and right now their preparing Raza Day, I volunteered to dance salsa on that day too. I went to Texas this summer, it wasn't that interesting because it was hot and in the middle of nowhere. I was hoping to go to Dallas but I was in Irving. I had a little fun though going to my family's house all the time. After that I went to Puerto Rico. Now that was really fun. I liked learning about their culture, and swimming in the pools there. Everyone there talks differently so it was very hard to understand some of them. I thought the summer was long enough, but I still miss my summer. Everyday now I have to wake up early in the morning. I really hate waking up early especially in the cold.

Second Blog: 9/29/07

I like programming because it teaches us how exactly a computer works. I think I have programmed something before I had the Quake game and I guess that's Quakelanguage. Mr. Styner does a good job teaching this class, but if he can improve it then he should deeply explain how we need to type these programs. The best thing I've ever experienced was probably my vacation trip to Disney World in Florida. It was about three years ago, but I remember it. It was me, my mom, dad, and sister. We actually went there when Hurricane I think Rita hit. We stayed in the hotel room for hours. The hotel we stayed in was the Pop Century Hotel. I liked it because it had anything popular from each decade. The 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's. I liked the 90's decade because I was raised in the late 90's. We then went to many parks in the resort. My favorite resort was MGM Studios. We went on a ride were they showed us scenes from different movies. It was an experience I'll never forget.
